Our sweet darling Marie,
You have spent almost 18 years of your beautiful life with us, here in Riyadh, and we are all so fortunate to have been blessed with such an adorable grand daughter like you. The times we have had together, some happy,some sad, some easy, some bad, "rolleyes", school, exams, food, etc are all the basic ingredients in any human's life and we have been lucky to have ridden through the ship unscathed, to date.
As a student, you have done your bit in working hard and successfully achieving the wonderful admission to UofT in Scarborough for which we are all so very proud of. The hard work has paid and I think every one in the family have contributed in some small way for its outcome. No doubt your efforts were magnificent.
Now, the time has come to set you free and leave you to seek your future academic's and goals on your own, with only Aunty Hidaya by your side. Yes, we will always be here for you whenever you need us cos you and Abdullah are the only two things in life we truly live for in this era of our lives. We know you will dedicate and commit yourself to achieve your goals and objectives and live a good life in Toronto with the assistance of Aunty Hidaya and the rest of the Toronto friends and families.
Your Mum, Nadia, and Abdullah will return to Riyadh on Aug 20. You will then have to manage your life using your good values and common sense. Be calm, cool and soft. Think before you respond. Take your time to resolve your issues and needs. Everything can wait. It is easy to hurt than to win over hearts. many will be the friends you will make at campus. Choose them wisely for they will be a mixture of various personalities. All humans are good. Only life determines which path they choose to take. make your choices well. Consult us if you need our views and advice.
Always remember, that truth is more important than fame and fortune. Errors are a part of life. The beauty is to leave them behind us, correct them, and move on. Forgiveness is an essential ingredient for human beings. Compassion and kindness is the foundation.
Life is not just winning or losing. Its how we live it in a manner that is decent, honourable, good, and beneficial to everyone around us.
Moderation is the best way to go.

I will certainly miss my front seat navigator and will now have to watch out for those road signs all by myself. We will survive. You will always be in our hearts and minds.
